Deeptale’s Slushpolis Story has won the prestigious 2017 Future of Storytelling Prize (FoST) in New York. As always at FoST, many of the world’s most talented teams and best creatives were competing for the prize. The FoST Jury consists of renowned professionals of media and storytelling: Steve Clayton, Director of Storytelling / Microsoft; Resh Sidhu, Creative Director / Framestore; Julia Kaganskiy, Director, NEW INC / New Museum; and the Founder of Future of Storytelling Charles Melcher.
Deeptale’s prize-winning experience Slushpolis Story tells the story of three residents of Slushpolis, an imagined city of the future. Users meet Mei-Ling, Sami, and Homey the Robot and are invited to follow their lives and take part in the trials and triumphs of creating exciting technology.
By using mixed reality, users can also walk around in the city and understand what it would be like to live in a future-forward place like Slushpolis. Go from the roof of a high-rise to the gentle waves of the Baltic sea using HoloLens.
Deeptale has produced Slushpolis Story in close co-operation with Trimble, Fira Oy and Microsoft.
Slushpolis Story is Exhibited at the Future of Storytelling Summit and Festival in NYC during Oct 4-8 2017. Contact us for an exclusive presentation.
